Pheasant Bird’s-Eye Recap
Welcome to the July 2025 edition of “Pheasant Bird’s-Eye Recap.” In this series, we reflect on our progress over the past month, highlighting key figures and metrics. From recent deployments and network usage statistics to trends in the Layer 2 scene, our monthly reports cover all notable events, ensuring you’re up-to-date with the latest advancements and prepared for upcoming developments.
Monthly Overview
July marked a strong start to the second half of 2025, building on the foundation we’ve laid over the past several months. We made especially meaningful progress on the marketing front, with a focus on aligning our visibility with the quality of the products we’ve been shipping.
Our biggest milestone was launching our own quest platform, where users can receive Pheasant Points by completing tasks. It’s a mutually reinforcing system—users get involved, and the network becomes stronger as a result.
We were also listed on DeFiLlama, one of the most widely used onchain portals in the space. This means anyone can now access real-time, on-chain data about our network from a neutral third-party source—an important step toward greater transparency and credibility.

June's Key Focus
Launch of the Pheasant Point Quest Platform
To make the Pheasant Point program more accessible to newcomers and more engaging for existing participants, we launched our own dedicated quest platform. This gives us more flexibility in how we design opportunities for users to collect points, and we’re already exploring a range of new ideas. One direction we’re particularly excited about is collaborating with other projects to create quests that allocate more points than the standard ones.
Listed on DeFiLlama
In July, we were officially listed on DeFiLlama under the Bridge category. As one of the most widely used onchain portals in the space, DeFiLlama pulls raw, on-chain data directly from deployed contracts. This means users can now monitor our bridge and swap activity, including metrics like volume and TVL, via a neutral, third-party platform. It’s an important step toward greater transparency and independent verification.
Leaderboard in Development
As interest in the Pheasant Point program continues to grow, we’ve started work on a public leaderboard to enrich the experience. This new feature will give participants real-time visibility into where they stand among others—adding a layer of friendly competition while making the broader ecosystem feel more connected.
Exploring Professional Marketing Support
Until now, Pheasant Network’s growth has been largely organic, driven by word of mouth, community efforts, educational content, and a quiet but consistent online presence. We’ve always believed that real adoption should follow real products, not the other way around. But as we enter a new chapter, we’re looking to build on that foundation. In July, we began exploring collaboration with marketing agencies to help us extend our reach and communicate more effectively with a broader audience.
Initial Conversations with CEXs
Looking ahead, we’ve also begun discussions with several centralized exchanges. While our commitment to decentralization remains core, we recognize that CEXs still play an important role in the broader crypto landscape. Though we can’t share specifics yet, we’ve already passed initial screening processes with multiple CEXs—an early step toward greater global accessibility.

CEO’s Comment
While there’s plenty to reflect on from July, it’s worth taking a moment to celebrate Ethereum’s 10th anniversary. It’s more than just a milestone—it’s a reminder of why so many of us started building in this space to begin with. Ethereum laid the foundation for a more open and permissionless internet, and it’s the reason projects like ours exist at all. Moments like this invite us to recommit to the values of public goods—tools that are used, loved, and improved by people around the world—and to reflect on our role in this decade-strong ecosystem.
As for Pheasant, I’m proud of the team for launching our quest platform on schedule. It’s a meaningful step that allows us to shift focus to the next milestone. While we have some exciting things in the pipeline, for now, I’m most looking forward to giving back to the community through the quest platform we’ve just introduced.
