Introducing Pheasant Cross-Chain Swap: Seamless Token Exchange Across Networks

Today marks a major shift in how you move and exchange crypto. No more juggling platforms, no more manual bridging and swapping separately. After months of development, we’re thrilled to introduce Pheasant Cross-Chain Swap—a powerful new DEX that lets you swap tokens across networks in a single transaction.

Until now, moving assets across networks meant a two-step process: bridging first, then swapping—or the other way around—whichever was more cost-efficient. Pheasant Swap eliminates that extra step. Now, you can bridge and swap in one go, streamlining the entire process.

With this launch, Pheasant now supports 30+ networks, spanning Layer 1s, Layer 2s, and countless tokens. Cross-chain transactions have never been this simple.

Pheasant Swap is a cross-chain swap (DEX) protocol that interconnects multiple blockchain networks, facilitating efficient asset transfers between them. By combining bridging and swapping into a single process, it enables users to exchange assets on one network for tokens on another with a single transaction. This integrated approach reduces network fragmentation and enhances the overall user experience.

A cross-chain swap is executed by sending a quoted swap request from the DApp to the PheasantNetworkSwap contract. Pheasant Swap's architecture consists of four main components.

• DApp: A DApp with cross-chain swap functionality. It uses PheasantSDK to quote a swap request, which is then submitted to the PheasantNetworkSwap contract for execution.
• DEX Protocol: DEX protocols integrated with Pheasant Network. These protocols receive swap requests from the PheasantNetworkSwap contract, execute the transactions, and return the results to the DApp.
• PheasantNetworkSwap Contract: A smart contract that facilitates swap execution by directing requests to the appropriate DEX protocols.
• Relayer: An actor that tracks swap statuses from initiation to completion. If the swap succeeds, the relayer withdraws the applicable fee; if it fails, the relayer refunds the relayer fee to the user.
